Why the first €100/month is the hardest and the most important

People fixate on big numbers — quit-your-job money. But the hardest, most valuable step is the first one: getting from €0 to €100 a month that arrives without you trading hours for it.

Why it’s the hardest: at zero, you don’t yet believe it’s real. You haven’t built the machine — the product, the asset, the system — only the idea of it. Most people stall here forever.

Why it matters most: that first €100 proves the model exists for you, specifically. Once something genuinely pays you while you sleep, scaling it is a different kind of problem — optimisation, not faith. Going from €100 to €1,000 is mostly doing more of a thing you’ve already proven works.

So aim embarrassingly low first. One small, real, recurring cashflow beats a beautiful plan for a big one. Get the machine running, then feed it.
